To celebrate the introduction of the M10 Monochrom on January 17, we decided to make Leica’s most tradition-steeped camera system this issue’s main visual focus. Nikos Economopoulos and Jan Michalko use their M cameras to capture the world in vibrant colours, while Peter Turnley and Meg Hewitt favour a classic black-and-white approach.
This time the “Leica Classics” section is dedicated to Edward Quinn, who as a photographer in the 1950s and 60s mingled with the rich and beautiful on the Côte d’Azur.
In the technical segment you can learn more about the new Leica M10 Monochrom and the Summilux-M 90 f/1.5 Asph.
Photographer Peter Turnley talks about life in all its facets and presents a selection of pictures from a country where he has experienced grace, spirit, dignity and humanity.
